The United States Congress has approved a $ 900 billion Covid-19 aid package tied to its $ 2.3 trillion year-end funding plan. Sure, reports are starting to circulate online about Americans getting checks for $ 600, but reports also include the discussions of unjustified spending and unlimited pig funds.
$ 600 is the equivalent of Marie Antoinette’s: ‘Let Them Eat Cake’
As soon as the mainstream media outlets started reporting that the US Congress approved a $ 900 billion Covid-19 aid package, Americans started talking about the $ 600 check they may be getting. The commentary to politicians was not particularly pleasant and on Twitter the phrase usually attributed to Marie Antoinette became: “Let them eat cakeWas trending for the past 24 hours.
$ 600 is the equivalent of Marie Antoinette saying “let them eat cake”. Do you remember how that turned out for Marie? Just sayin’.

The $ 900 billion Covid-19 aid package is a whopping 5,593 pages long, and according to Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY 4th District), the Democrats didn’t even want to read the bill.
“Reminder: The House has a rule to give everyone 72 hours to read the accounts,” Massie tweeted. “Every Democrat in the House has voted to suspend that rule and so tonight we’re voting on an over 5,500 page bill with less than 8 hours to read it.”
In addition, many Americans on social media and online forums discussed the massive amount of pig barrel funds put into the latest $ 900 billion program, and the total Financing plan at the end of the year $ 2.3 trillion. A “pork” or “pig financing” is when bureaucrats distribute funding to certain government programs and the costs are divided among the taxpayers.
End-of-year financing legislation also allocates $ 284 billion to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Unfortunately, many Americans weren’t happy with the latest PPP distribution as it was for small businesses, but the vast majority of the funds were scraped up by large corporations.
Billions for overseas, a 1% pay rise for federal employees, new furniture and missile procurement
The pork, approved by US politicians, is extraordinarily luscious and seems to benefit the political class the most. For example, Congress gave itself and all federal employees one 1% pay rise. Zerohedge.com’s infamous journalist Tyler Durden, published a fantastic collection of a large number of pig barrel funds added to the Covid-19 bill.
But the list is much larger, and over the course of the past 24 hours, many people have been scrutinizing the so-called emergency.
The massive Covid-19 package gives billions overseas, millions to the Kennedy Center and more. For example, the relatives of unauthorized US citizens will get up to $ 1,800. There is even a new law tucked away in the bill illegal streaming of a crime. The colossal $ 2.3 trillion package is the largest ever considered by Congress, so large that the 5,593-page bill transported by a 4 wheel dolly.
An estimated $ 3.3 billion will go to Israel ($ 500 million to the Israeli military), $ 453 million to Ukraine, $ 130 million to Nepal, $ 10 million to Pakistan, $ 1.3 billion to Egypt, $ 700 million to Sudan, $ 135 million to Burma, $ 85.5 million to Cambodia and $ 1.4 billion to the Asia Reassurance Initiative Act.
Unfortunately for so many people in need, the $ 600 incentive check is the equivalent of Marie Antoinette’s “Let Them Eat Cake.” The congress is completely out of touch with the people. Do you feel Me?

While the U.S. government has forcibly shut down hundreds of thousands of small businesses across the country, the new law approves $ 89,615,280 for the U.S. Senate to purchase new furniture.
$ 2 billion for the Air Force’s purchase of missiles, $ 2 billion for Space Force, and $ 4 billion for the Navy. $ 65 million to restore salmon populations, $ 208 million to upgrade the Census Bureau computer systems, $ 35 million to improve police-community relations, $ 710 million to give Syrians weapons and training.
The pork in this COVID relief bill is legendary. Have you seen anything like this before? It seems that 60% of the funds go outside our country.

Scrambling to approve $ 2.3 trillion over the holiday week is no accident
The popular Twitter account Rando oil field also tweeted about many of these unjustified spending by the US government and joked about all the pork loaded into the Covid-19 bill. “$ 750,000,000 for fossil energy research? Rando asked on Twitter. “Who gets this?” Rando continued his rant about the US government, saying:
$ 222,724,000 to update the IRS ‘business systems. You know, the IRS said they were too poor to investigate super rich offenders, and so they focused on investigating the middle class.
It is clear and abundantly clear that American bureaucrats have added a large amount of pig barrel funding to the emergency. But most politicians in America are pretending to rush to pass on the $ 900 billion aid package in an effort to address the economic hardship.
Senator Rand Paul, (R-KY) destroyed members of the United States Congress when he addressed on the Senate floor on Monday. Paul essentially said that Republican and Democratic leaders are essentially one and the same. “To the so-called conservatives who quickly recognize the socialism of Democrats: if you vote for this spending monstrosity, you are no better,” exclaimed Paul. The YouTube video of Paul’s Senate floor speech also went viral on social media and forums
“If free money was the answer … if money really grew on trees, why not give more free money?” Paul stressed. ‘Why not spread it out all the time? Why stop at $ 600 per person? Why not $ 1,000? Why not $ 2,000? Maybe these new Republicans with free money should join the Everybody-Gets-A-Guaranteed-Income Caucus? Why not $ 20,000 a year for everyone, why not $ 30,000? If we can print money with impunity, why can’t we? “
However, as usual, it is the bureaucrats and their friends who will receive a financial boost in the coming days. Meanwhile, millions of Americans are also in rent arrears, and the latest legislation only extends the eviction protection program until the end of January.
Kentucky representative Massie said generally huge bills like this one are kept specifically for busy holiday weeks. “Bless your heart if you think the passage of a 5500+ page $ trillion + bill just happened randomly over Christmas week,” Massie tweeted. If I noticed one thing during my stay in Washington, it is Congress saving its biggest Congressional bill of the week [members] most anxious to go home to their family. “
The $ 900 billion Covid-19 bill has been sent to President Donald Trump’s office and is now awaiting his signature.
