American rapper and hip-hop artist Megan Thee Stallion is giving away $ 1 million worth of bitcoin on Twitter to Cash App users. Thousands of people are participating, and many claim to have already received a number of sats from the star.
Megan Thee Stallion is really giving away Bitcoin
Megan Thee Stallion, also known as Hot Girl Meg, announced on Twitter on Thursday that she is giving away $ 1 million worth of bitcoin to Cash App users. “Thee Hot Girl coach is officially on team @Cashapp,” she wrote. “To celebrate, I give $ 1 million in bitcoin to as many hotties as possible. Will give this out million units until gone, so drop your Cashapp below with #Bitcoinmeg to get a piece. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey also confirmed in a tweet that this bitcoin giveaway by Megan Thee Stallion is legitimate.
At the time of writing, thousands of people have participated on Twitter. Hot Girl Meg’s tweet has been retweeted over 18,000 times, liked more than 67,500 times and garnered over 172,000 responses. A number of people have also confirmed by providing their Cash App screenshots that they actually received bitcoin payments from the star.
Hot Girl Meg followed with another bitcoin tweet:
Hotties bitcoin is a really smart investment and is increasing over time [fire emoji] make sure to keep dropping the names of your Cash App so bubbles can make smart money moves.
According to the screenshots posted by people claiming to have received a number of sats from Megan Thee Stallion, the hip hop artist gave away between 43,000 and 50,000 sats to each recipient. Twitter handle @ 1nonlyrmonee posted a screenshot confirming receipt of Hot Girl Meg’s 43,210 sats (~ $ 9.78). ‘You guys, I’m so crazy. I just won a share of Megan’s Bitcoin giveaway !! Thank you very much, I am forever grateful, ”she wrote.
This isn’t the first time the “Girls in the Hood” singer has given money away to her fans. In August, she gave away $ 1 million to celebrate a “WAP” collaboration with fellow rapper and actress Cardi B. “We are partnering with Twitter and Cash App to celebrate all powerful women by giving away a total of $ 1 million. How can someone help you or a woman you know now?” Megan Thee Stallion wrote at the time. The singer also previously gave away $ 10,000 each to 10 Tinder users for submitting a profile that shows their true selves in the “Put Yourself Out There Challenge.”
