This post contains 37 links to most of the best quality content uploaded to Reddit this month. Most links are from the popular r / bitcoin, but we’ve also pulled posts from other forums, such as r / BitcoinMining.
In this collection, there are 10 different categories that organize each link: privacy, adoption, development, security, mining, business, education, regulation and politics, archeology (financial incumbents) and, last but not least, memes, fun and others.
October rebounded to optimism where September left off, especially in price. Community confidence in BTC has continued to be strong, with many anticipating a sharp price hike and many bulls calling for a new record before the end of the year. Time will tell.
The adoption by the institution of bitcoin as a treasury reserve remains the hottest topic in the space as Square joined MicroStrategy and bought $ 50 million worth of BTC. These were just two of the many dominoes that would fall for Bitcoin – Stone Ridge Asset Management also revealed its $ 115 million Bitcoin investment.
This was especially interesting because many of the company’s employees were Bitcoiners and already owned BTC, which would make their company’s auditors look more closely at it. All these big institutions coming into space make us think … Apple just released that $ 191.83 billion in cash is available and you have to wonder, so when will Apple buy Bitcoin?
As time goes on, more and more of the existing financial institutions are changing their minds about Bitcoin, and we saw that they were quite noisy about it this month. A former Goldman Sachs chief hedge fund manager has made a $ 1,000,000 BTC prediction. This goes hand in hand with JP Morgan Chase who also recently spoke affectionately about Bitcoin. It looks like the Wall Street firms are starting to give up the battle they couldn’t have won in the first place.
In addition, legendary hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones has indicated that he likes Bitcoin even more now than before, and that this bull market is still in the first inning.
